Comfort food is my jam
As fall approaches, my brain just goes to comfort food. Ok, honestly, it doesn’t need to be fall. I am always thinking comfort food. Ha! But I figured we could get some good eats in before I head on a quick work trip to Florida. We continue to pray for our friends in Texas and Florida as they do the hard job of rebuilding their homes and their lives. I’ve been through quite a few bad hurricanes in my life but our houses always made it through and there was never any severe damage and we were unharmed. If you are a military family or a first responder family, then often your spouse or loved one is gone when you need them the most. Our first responders don’t often get the recognition they deserve. They truly are better than the rest of us. For many of them, their own homes are destroyed and they are leaving behind their own distressed family and little ones to help others. We are so thankful for these angels!!
