Can we end Daylight Saving Time already?
I don’t know about y’all but I am needing ALL the comfort food this week. The end of Daylight Saving Time is kicking my butt. I wake up great in the morning but have such a hard time dealing with it getting dark so early. So this week, for Meal Plan Sunday, I chose a few childhood favorites like Chicken Pot Pie and Old-Fashioned Chicken and Dumplings. I could swim in that stuff! I have a lot of work stuff going on right now so I definitely wanted some crock pot recipes in there so I don’t have to be fussing too much over dinner. And I am definitely NOT skipping dessert this week! 🙂
Thanksgiving is around the corner!
Next week I am hoping to feature some good recipe ideas for Thanksgiving. I try to keep that day as simple as possible because all I want to do is eat, relax and hang with my family. We all usually pitch in and help make the food. It’s part of the fun but we also don’t want to spend ALL day doing it! What are your tips and tricks for the holidays?
