If you are on the hunt for some good, solid ground beef recipes, then I have some great ones for you at this week’s Meal Plan Sunday. We have some good ole Granny’s Goulash (American style). That dish goes by a lot of different names depending where you are from. I’ve heard some folks call it Johnny Marzetti. I had never heard that before but apparently it is a regional thing. We also have some yummy stuffed shells, BBQ Biscuit Cups (that one is a hit with the kiddos), Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes, Crock Pot Black Bean Chili and my husband’s favorite: Old-Fashioned Chicken and Dumplings. Those flat dumplings are so simple to make and the longer they cook, the plumper they get and the thicker the broth gets. It really tastes like the ones they serve at Cracker Barrel. Actually, if I’m being honest, I really think they taste better! Use your own homemade chicken stock to really boost their flavor. I’ve also added a few dessert ideas if you have a sweet tooth like me. 😉
