TIPS FOR MAKING THIS EASY BREAKFAST OR DESSERT!

  • You can use any type of apple for these. I like to use a more tart green apple like Granny Smith or Golden Delicious. We aren’t baking these for a long time so you could certainly use a Fuji or another sweet/tart apple that you enjoy and they should do fine.
  • You can substitute with apple pie filling for the fresh apples.
  • If you like your apples super soft, you will want to to put the apple filling in a sauce pan and meat it up over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes before filling the cinnamon roll cups.

  1. I made these today at my camper and baked them on the girl. They turned out great. Not only did I make them with apple, but I thought I would try them with peaches. They turned out even better tasting than the apple one. Thanks for the idea of how to use cinnamon roll dough.

  2. 5 stars
I think I will try this with the dough I use for cinnamon rolls (buns), instead of buying the pre-made cinnamon roll tube dough. Love the idea of having apples in the filling. Hubby loves apples AND cinnamon buns!
