Memorial Day Picnic Recipes
It’s that time of year where we all start thinking about barbecues and picnics and all kinds of outdoor activities. So I rounded up some of my favorite recipes from my favorite food bloggers. These Memorial Day Picnic recipes are gonna be such a hit at your next gathering that everyone is gonna want your secret recipe! 😉 They are easy family favorites! All kinds of pasta salads, potato salads, pie, cobbler, brownies and beans!
Practice Food Safety
Not all food likes to hang out on the picnic table for long periods of time. Pretty much anything with mayo is outta the picture unless you have some way to keep it cool. There are lots of neat products on the market now that are perfect for keeping foods cool while you hang outside. You don’t always have to haul a cooler around! So make sure you check out these summer food safety tips.
Bring on the food!
All of these recipes below come from farming families. I am so honored to know all of these women. They are all so unique, special and amazing and I’m proud to call them friends. I hope you’ll visit all of their sites and get to know them and their recipes and their love of farming. Some are big farmers, some are small. Some are dairy farmers and some are pig farmers. Some are beef farmers and some are produce farmers. That sounds like a Dr. Seuss book, don’t it?! LOL
Just be sure to click on any of the photos below to take you to the recipe! There are lots to choose from. I hope y’all have a safe and tasty holiday weekend! I also hope you’ll take a few moments to say a word of thanks to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for all the freedoms we enjoy here in America and so we can celebrate those freedoms with picnics like this! Enjoy!
