Honey Ham Biscuits

Warm Honey Ham Biscuits are made with refrigerated biscuits, honey ham, provolone cheese and drizzled with warm honey. Perfect appetizer, lunch or brunch!

A DELICIOUS BREAKFAST OR BRUNCH

There is nothing better than a warm, tender biscuit straight outta the oven. Mmmmm. Slather some butter and honey on it and that is my idea of heaven right there. Now take that same biscuit and throw in some honey ham (or country ham) and melty cheese and it takes it to a whole other level! These Honey Ham Biscuits are perfect if you have any leftover ham too. Warm, buttery and sweet with yummy, gooey cheese.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Can I use different ham?

Yes, this is a great way to use any leftover ham. Black forest ham, country ham, any other deli ham or thick cut ham would all work fine on the sandwich.

What if I don’t want to use honey?

These are honey ham sandwiches, but if you don’t want to use honey or running low you can swap that out for maple syrup or just some more butter.

Can I use different meat?

Yes, any deli sliced meat should work with a sandwich. Roasted chicken, any thin sliced turkey, or even roast beef would all work with this biscuit sandwich.

What other breakfast sandwiches can I serve with these?

Breakfast biscuits are a regular around my house. We love some Snickerdoodle Skillet Biscuits and Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits. Any of these would go nicely together as different breakfast options for people to choose from.

What do I do with leftover sandwiches?

Store leftover sandwiches in an airtight container or a wrap them individually with plastic wrap and store in the fridge in a zipped up bag for up to 4-5 days.

HOW TO MAKE HONEY HAM BISCUITS:

Preheat oven to 400f degrees. Spray a 9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Separate each biscuit into two layers. They should separate easily. If not, just take a knife and make a small cut into the side of the biscuit and then pull to separate.

You will have 20 biscuit slices after you’re done. Don’t worry if it’s not neat. These biscuits will puff up beautifully when they cook!

Spread honey mustard dressing on all the biscuit slices.

Unbaked biscuit down on a sheet, and honey mustard on top of the dough.

Place slices of provolone cheese on all the biscuit slices.

Then, place 10 of the biscuit slices into your prepared baking dish and add a slice of ham onto each one.

Top ham with remaining biscuit slices, cheese side down.
