Pizza Pull-Apart Sliders (+Video)

Remix pizza night by serving pizza sliders instead! Pizza Pull-Apart Sliders are stuffed with cheese, pepperoni, sausage with herb topping!

AN EASY, CHEESY PIZZA-INSPIRED SLIDER

My family and I usually have a designated pizza night a couple of times a month. My son loves to help make pizza so I’ll pick up some store-bought pizza dough and toppings and we can make it together pretty fast. These pizza pull-apart sliders are a funny little wist on our usual pizza night.

TIPS FOR MAKING PIZZA SLIDERS:

  • You can have a lot of fun with this recipe by adding whatever toppings your family loves. I even picked up pre-cooked sausage to make this even easier.
  • The seasoned buttery topping on this is amazing. It really makes these special. You can use as little or as much of it as you like. Some people don’t enjoy a lot of seasoning so you can make the call yourself.
  • Definitely serve with marinara or pizza sauce!

  • dinner rolls
  • pizza sauce
  • mozzarella cheese
  • pepperoni
  • cooked sausage
  • butter

HOW TO MAKE PIZZA SLIDERS:

Preheat oven to 350f degrees. Spray the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Slice the rolls horizontally (while still attached) to make a top and bottom bun.

You’ll want to make sure that you have the thicker part of the bun on the bottom. Since it’s going to be carrying a lot of the load with all the toppings. 🙂

Now, make the seasoned buttery topping. Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and stir well.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes. You’ll want to see that the cheese is all nice and melty around the edges.

Didn’t eat them all? No problem – they re-heat great in the microwave.

Very tasty and will make again however I would toast bottoms to avoid sogginess. Also will take foil off while in oven for about last 2 minutes. When done, avoid putting foil back on so that they don’t get soggy from condensation as they cool. I found out the hard way when I transported to a friend’s house and they were soggy when I unveiled them! They still tasted good. The butter sauce with spices really makes them so yummy.

Delicious, easy recipe! I typically make them without sausage, cut the amount of butter in half (and they’ve never been dry), and use garlic powder instead of garlic salt. A family favorite for sure! Thanks for posting.

They were delicious minus all of the salt. I wonder if it was meant to be garlic powder in the recipe instead of garlic salt? Other than it being way too salty, it was great. When I make these again, I will not use garlic salt lol! I’m still puckering! Haha!

“45” pepperonis? LOL I love an exact recipe! Although I didn’t follow it too much. 3/4 cup would have been too much sauce because my rolls were kind of small. Omitted the sausage because I didn’t have any. =( I definitely didn’t count out the pepperoni..Did anyone else?? LOL
I was too lazy to mix the topping in a bowl so I just slathered on some butter and sprinkled the spices on top. A perfect, fast, lazy meal! Had it with a salad per your suggestion.

These sliders sound & look so good, except for the fact that I totally abhor pepperoni! I’ll use a good quality Canadian bacon instead, so I’m sure they’ll be scrumptious, and also somewhat healthier.
