Martha Washington for the win!
I need to know the story behind our most popular recipe this week for Martha Washington Candy. How did it get its name? Was it created by Martha Washington or just named after her? I love the history behind food because it is never a simple answer and I geek out over history in general. I’m pretty sure that is why I love living in Virginia so much. There is a ridiculous amount of history here. From the Native Americans to the early colonists and everything in between and after. Anyhow..I digress, we’re here for the food! Our other featured recipes this week include lots more scrumptious goodness like Sour Cream Cookies, Crock Pot Easy Homemade Yeast Rolls and my recipe for Crock Pot Loaded Little Potatoes.
