Pimento Cheese Sausage Dip

Pimento Cheese Sausage Dip is always the surprise hit at parties! It adds amazing flavor and a new twist on the usual sausage cheese dip!

A DELICIOUSLY DIFFERENT CHEESE DIP

I think I have a new favorite dip! I love a good sausage dip made with Velveeta but I decided to switch out the Velveeta for pimento cheese and oh boy!! This was so amazing in flavor! The pimento cheese really adds extraordinary flavor to punch up your ordinary sausage dip. If you make this, your guests will all want to know what your secret ingredient is!

TIPS FOR MAKING PIMENTO CHEESE SAUSAGE DIP:

  • This dip is creamy and savory and only has a very small kick of heat from the hot ground sausage. If you want even more heat, you could use a hot salsa or add some jalapeños. You can even find spicy pimento cheese as well.
  • You can make it very mild by using a regular, non-spicy ground sausage as well as a mild salsa. Whatever your tastebuds prefer. It’s that easy!
  • If you want to keep this warm while serving, put it into a small crock pot and keep it on the “warm” setting.
  • Just buy your favorite pimento cheese. I usually grab what is on sale. My personal all-time favorite is Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit Pimento Cheese (you can find it at many Costco locations – but not all.) I don’t have a Costco near me but when I travel to one, I always pick up Callie’s. Palmetto cheese (shown below) is a close second.

  • Can’t find Price*s Pimento Cheese Spread? No problem? Just buy your favorite pimento cheese. It will still work with this recipe!
