Crock Pot Glazed Sausages

These Crock Pot Glazed Sausages are the perfect party food/appetizer! They stay warm in the slow cooker and the glaze is amazing!

A DELICIOUS AND EASY APPETIZER RECIPE

Let me start this post off by saying that we all went wild over these Crock Pot Glazed Sausages. My son kept going back for another bite. Then another. And then another. He normally doesn’t care for cranberry, but in this case, he really had no idea it was one of the ingredients.

CROCK POT GLAZED SAUSAGES APPETIZER OR SNACK!

I make something similar with Meatballs Except that recipe just uses grape jelly and chili sauce or BBQ sauce. This mixture of cranberry and ketchup was a nice change to that recipe. This recipe comes from Gooseberry Patch’s latest cookbook, ‘101 Super-Easy Slow-Cooker Recipes‘. They had my attention at “Super Easy” and “Slow Cooker”!

I have had lots of fun cooking from this cookbook. There is a little something in here for everyone. You’ve got appetizers, main meals, soups and even desserts! I shared another recipe from this cookbook earlier this month if you missed it. It was the Crock Pot Taco Joes. SO good!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)

  • kielbasa
  • mini smoked sausages (Lit’l Smokies)
  • ketchup
  • whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • grape jelly
kielbasa, Lit'l smokies, ketchup, whole berry cranberry sauce, grape jelly.

Note: This makes enough for a crowd. Feel free to cut the recipe in half if you don’t need as much.

HOW TO MAKE GLAZED CROCK POT SAUSAGES:

Place all ingredients into your slow cooker.

sliced kielbasa, Lit'l smokies, grape jelly, ketchup and cranberry jelly in a slow cooker.

Stir to mix well. Cover and cook on the low setting for 4-6 hours. The sausages are already pre-cooked. We’re really just warming them up here and making a yummy sauce for them to bathe in.

We love these so much! I used to always bring the crock pot meatballs made with grape jelly but those get old after a whole and are nothing new. These were a huge hit at a recent baby shower!! I came home with an empty crock pot LOL

  2. Can I use the other kind of cranberry sauce that looks like gelatin without the whole berries? I have it on hand, and I would love to make some of this.

  3. I'm new to crockpot cooking – my hubby is strictly a
meat/potato man. Tried a recipe off internet for pot roast but was disappointed – meat was still not tender – flavor was delicious. With this crockpot cook book I believe I'd be the apple of my hubby's eyes. Thanks.

  8. Tonight my crockpot recipe was super simple = Italian sausage and a mixture of store bought spaghetti sauce and my own frozen sauce made last summer. I needed a quick meal to get the grandkids to a band concert on time. Fifteen minutes before we ate, we made the pasta, veggie, and some garlic bread. Simple and good. For a real recipe in the crockpot, I like Italian beef
