Welcome back to Weekend Potluck!
How was your week? Fantastic? Awesome? Crazy? Hectic? Sad?
I hope hanging out with us this week will at least be a little bright spot to your week.
I kinda use Fridays to just say hello to everyone and catch up with y'all to see how you've been.
Earlier this week I saw this video and it touched me so much that I just had to share with you.
I shared it on facebook, but y'all know how touchy facebook is these days.
I think maybe five of y'all actually saw it.
I have literally watched this video about 20 times.
I just adore this little boy so much and the message this video shares.
When was the last time you shared your awesomeness with the world?
When was the last time you shared something positive and uplifting with your friends on facebook rather than the latest political statement or negative image or thoughts that you know might stir up negative controversy?
When was the last time you shared your light with the world? Your gifts? Your love?
Your heart? And showed love and praise to those who weren't "on your team"?
Maybe you need a pep talk too.
This video is only a couple minutes long so I hope you'll take a bit of time out for yourself to watch it. I promise it's worth it and maybe it will give you just that bit of pep in your step that it gave me.
There, now that we got your hearts all warm and fuzzy.
How about we take the path to awesome food?
(if you watched the video, you'll get that reference)
(if you watched the video, you'll get that reference)
We are all geared up (at least in the world of food) for some football.
It's the Super Bowl on Sunday, in case a few of you who might have been sequestered all week didn't notice all the hype going on about football.
So hopefully you'll get some great and new ideas for snacks this week on Weekend Potluck!
