New Feature at The Country Cook~Ziplist!

I’m excited to let you all know about a new feature here at The Country Cook. You’ll notice that I've added a Save Recipe button to each recipe post, so you can now save your favorites to your own personal recipe boxes, along with any other recipes you find across the web. You can also save the recipe ingredients to your online shopping lists with one click.
Welcome to ZipList
I’ve teamed up with ZipList to make this happen. They power the online recipe boxes and shopping lists you see at MarthaStewart.com, The Daily Meal and Joy of Baking, as well as many other food blogs. You can save recipes from any of these websites, including mine, and they'll all be saved in one place. No more hunting from site-to-site to track down your favorite recipes.

You can also access your recipe box and shopping list from my website, ZipList.com and using free mobile apps so you have what you need to plan meals and grocery shop wherever you go.

Once you’ve signed up for a ZipList account (totally free), anytime you hit this little “save” button on The Country Cook from now on, the recipe will be saved to your ZipList recipe box, and the ingredients will be added to your grocery list.
If you already have certain ingredients, you can easily remove some items, or change the quantities of others.
You can even mark whether or not you have a coupon for a certain ingredient,
or specify if you need to go to a special store for one of them.
I'm working all getting all of my recipes set up so that you can save them to Ziplist.

I’m excited to hear what you think and I hope you'll find this a useful and user-friendly tool here at The Country Cook!

I have really enjoyed it so far Colleen. I've been using it for other websites myself and I contacted Ziplist a while back to see how to get it on my website. They finally got it all worked out to get it on my page. I'm so excited. I hope y'all will find it to be a helpful tool!

It's taking some time but I'm slowly working on getting all of my recipes on here added so that you can save them to your recipe boxes. :o)

Are you able to add a *Pin It* button on the bottom of your posts for pinterest (similar to the email and facebook share buttons). I'd love to pin all of your recipes! :)

Hi Chel! Thank you for your comment! At the end of each recipe, you'll see a blue button that says "Save recipe". Click on that button and it will ask you to set up a Ziplist account (totally free). Once you've done that, you can add recipes from my site and lot of other food sites that participate in Ziplist. You can even create grocery lists. If you have any other questions, I'm happy to help!
