WANTED: Your favorite family recipes!
I want you, dear Country Cook friend, to be the star of your very own blog post.
Do you have a recipe that has been in your family for ages?
Or maybe you have a recipe that you discovered a few years ago and
your family requests it often.
Would you like to share that recipe with our other Country Cook friends?
Well, now is your chance.
Details:
Send me an e-mail to: thecountrycook@gmail.com, with the following information:
Tell us a little about yourself.
(You can use a first name and an initial for your last name, if you prefer)
Where are you from?
Do you have children? Or grandchildren?
Now tell us about the recipe. Is it an heirloom recipe? Did you create it yourself? Or did a friend give it to you? Why does your family rave about it?
Now share the recipe. Including measurements (as best you can) and cooking temperatures and time (if applicable).
Now, how about some pictures? If possible, but not necessary, include a picture of yourself, a picture of the person who passed the recipe down to you and a picture of the food (if you have one).
Finally, since this is open to Non-Bloggers and you don't have a blog to promote, how about dedicating your post to someone special? Or, if you'd like, I can mention a special cause that is near and dear to your heart (no businesses though, please).

There is no deadline for this. Send me an e-mail when you get the time and I'll get back to you about working out the details of your special post. I'll keep this feature running as long as there is interest.
Give credit where credit is due. If you got your recipe off another website, it's not a problem, just please be sure to mention your source.

Now, let's get cooking!

I might have to offer up my linguine salad sometime. I finally got pictures of the recipe over Memorial Day weekend. It also has a fun story...it brings back memories of my next door neighbors in Norfolk, and their hilarious terrier that I would dog-sit on occasion.
